Director's Notes Charles E Todd II and Family

Greetings Georgia Bridgemen Supporters,

This year marks 30 years of being a director of the Georgia Bridgemen for me.  What an honor it has been to be a part of such a wonderful organization, filled with such great people.  From the students to the parents, boosters, community, school and system administrators, I have been fortunate in receiving some of the greatest support rendered in our never ending quest for excellence in every aspect of life.  Over the years I have had the opportunity to lead this prestigious group to some of the greatest performance venues afforded to high school musicians, including the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade (2003), The Tournament of Roses Parade (2006), The Presidential Inaugural Parade (2005), several Chicago Christmas parades, two National Cherry Blossom Festival Parades (2002 & 2008), two world-wide televised Disney Christmas Parade performances (1999 & 2006) and our jazz band recording three professional CDs (2004, 2006 & 2008) in Nashville, TN.  In addition to those honors, we have won countless Superior ratings, awards and Grand Championships over the years in marching, concert and jazz band performances.

It is my sincere hope that the “Bridgemen” experience has positively affected every student that has come through our program.  Thank you for the support that you continually show our young people.  Our success is directly connected to the level of support that we receive.  We look forward to another successful year, and to your continued support.

With Warmest Regards,
Charles E. Todd, II
