Band Camp Dates

July 22 – Instrument Pick Up from 5:00-7:00 for all high school students. Baritones, Mellophones, Bass Clarinets and Bari Saxes

July 8-10 – Leadership Camp at St. Simons. All Section Leaders and Drum Majors must Attend

July 11-13 – Music, Percussion and Auxiliary Rehearsal 9:00-12:00 noon. All band members must attend.

July 16-19 – Band Pre-Camp 9:00-12:00, 2:00-5:00. All members must attend.

July 20 – Band Pictures at Stadium. 8:00am – until

July 23-26 – Band Camp. 9:00-12:00, 2:00-9:00.

July 27 – Band Camp. 9:00-12:00, 2:00-5:00. Band Dance at Mathis Auditorium 7:00pm

July 30-31 – Band Camp. 9:00-12:00, 2:00-5:00

Continental Breakfast at the hotel.

Depart for Chicago, IL.

Lunch on your own. (Fast Food Stop)

Arrive at hotel in Chicago, IL.

Depart for Navy Pier to spend some time shopping and sightseeing and board the "Spirit of Chicago" for a dinner cruise around Lake Michigan. You will enjoy a full catered meal and a DJ Dance Party.

Return to hotel.

Full buffet breakfast at hotel.

Sightseeing in Chicago, IL. We will be in small groups and will board Double Decker Trolleys where you can customize your own sightseeing of Chicago.

Lunch on your own. You will have free time to spend on State Street and Michigan Avenue to explore and shop all that Chicago has to offer. You will get to explore WATER TOWER PLACE that is an 8 level atrium with places like Macy's, American Girl Place, the New Broadway Playhouse, and more than 100 stores.

Dinner provided at Buca di Beppo for an Italian Family Style meal.

Attend a performance of "The Blue Man Group"

Depart for the Shedd Aquarium and Planetarium

Lunch on your own. You will get to spend more time on your own exploring Chicago's Magnificent Mile.

Dinner provided. We will enjoy a dinner with all of the bands that are participating in the parade.
