Lowndes High Jazz Ensemble
"Entertaining" does not even begin to describe a performance by the LHS Jazz Ensemble. From soulful jazz standards to more modern riffs, these talented instrumentalists and vocalists involve the audience in the most energetic experiences around.

This group performs more than any other musical ensemble on campus, an average of 40 performances per school year! The Jazz Ensemble competed in 2003 in the Daytona Beach Music Festival and received straight superior ratings as well as winning 1st place overall with the highest scoring musical performance of the day.

The Jazz Ensemble cut their second CD in Nashville with LHS band alumni Chris Griffin in a fabulous professional studio in 2006. This year they're back at it again, heading up to Tennessee once more in late April for their third album.
