November 2008 Edition

Please make plans to attend the Booster meeting on Monday, November 17, 2008 at 6:30 p.m. in the LHS Cafetorium.

STUDENT ACCOUNTS:   Please pay for the Largo trip and band fees this Monday should your account be outstanding at this time. If you would like to make a donation to help a band student in need of assistance, please see Sheila Seaward during the booster meeting.

FUNDRAISERS:  All Discount Cards are due Monday, November 17th.  If you still have cards, please turn them in to Bobbie Tookes or your account will be charged for them.

BAND STORE:  Tamara Oglesby will have the band store open during the meeting – this may be the last time before Christmas!  Bridgemen items make GREAT Christmas gifts.

AUXILIARY:  The auxiliary is selling cheesecakes for Thanksgiving and Christmas as a fundraiser.  There are 20 slices in each cheesecake and they are selling for $20.00 each.  They come boxed and frozen and ready to be put in the freezer or placed in the refrigerator for serving.  The delivery dates are the week before Thanksgiving and the week before Christmas.  GREAT FOR HOLIDAY DINNERS!!

BABY SHOWER:  We are having a baby shower for Kerry, Shanna, and Baby Chris Quinn before the booster meeting at 6:00 in the small room in the cafetorium.  Kerry is one of the Deputies that escorts the band on our road trips.  We couldn’t do what we do without our Deputies!  Some items of interest for the shower might be:  size 3 Huggies, gift cards, larger size clothes (currently in 6-9 month items), and Enfimil Lipil Gentlease formula.  Formula could change after they visit a specialist with Chris’s stomach in December.
 
E-MAIL:  I am still missing about 40 parents/guardians e-mail addresses.  If you are not receiving the newsletter by e-mail, please give Cindy Waller your e-mail address ASAP, otherwise the newsletter will come via the post office.  You can e-mail them to Cindy at:  ticer_31606@yahoo.com.   The newsletter is posted on the Georgia Bridgemen website each month, also.
