Greetings Georgia Bridgemen Fans, Thank you for visiting our web site, and for the support that
you constantly show to our instrumental music program at Lowndes High
School. We’re off to another great marching season,
having completed camp with around 340 members. We are now in
the planning stages for this season, and will keep you informed as to
our travel plans. We have accepted an invitation from Tarpon Springs High School
in Tarpon Springs, FL to be the exhibition band for their marching
competition on October 20, 2007. We are quite honored that
they chose us for this honor, and look forward to performing for their
competition. We have applied for acceptance into the
“National Cherry Blossom Parade” in Washington, DC,
and will keep you informed of our performance status. We will
also once again host our “Third Annual Battle on
the Border” marching competition, and look to host around 20
or so marching bands. The date for this event is October 27,
2007. We will perform exhibition at this event as
well. We will keep you informed as to what marching
competition we intend to attend as well. Thanks to everyone involved at every level with our
instrumental music program. We truly appreciate all that you
do for our young people. Thank you also to Mr. Al Rowell, our
webmaster, for maintaining and updating our web page. With Warmest Regards, Charles E. Todd, II |
